The veteran writer and Top Cow Productions CEO checked into his local emergency room on Tuesday after an infection caused his ankle to swell alarmingly.
His wife Bridget has been tweeting his progress. Silvestri was cleared for release yesterday.
"Marc is doing better and is being released from the hospital today," Top Cow publisher Filip Sablik told Comic Book Resources.
"He's feeling good, is in high spirits, and eager to get back to the drawing board to wrap up the last couple of pages of Hulk #3. It should not affect the release of Hulk #3 and Marvel has been fantastic and understanding in working with us so that Marc could complete the entire issue."
Silvestri is working on the relaunched title with Wolverine and the X-Men writer Jason Aaron.
A glitch on comiXology earlier in the week revealed Incredible Hulk #2 briefly, with credits showing that 11 artists - including extra pencillers and inkers - worked on the issue, as reported by Bleeding Cool.
Whilce Portacio is solicited to illustrate Incredible Hulk #4.
