Robocop: Road Trip has been announced by Dynamite Entertainment.
The new miniseries is a continuation of writer Rob Williams's work on the property, following on from his initial run on the publisher's ongoing Robocop title.
Road Trip takes protagonist Alex Murphy on a journey across a post-apocalyptic America, exploring the dichotomy between man and machine. The story was originally penned as issues #7 to #10 of Dynamite's Robocop series.

Williams told CBR: "Hopefully readers remember where we left the storyline: there's been a massive collapse of the economy across America and what's followed is, effectively, a corporate landgrab.
"OCP have taken over Old Detroit in a coup and, with communications cut off across an increasingly apocalyptic country, Robocop and what's left of the Old Detroit police department are trying to get across Lake Erie to Cleveland to bring help."
He added: "But, they have no idea what's waiting for them there. This is the first storyline to show Robocop's America outside Old Detroit (I think). But OCP are sending an all-new brand of Hunter robots after Robocop, to try and ensure he doesn't make it."
Williams also penned the Terminator/Robocop crossover Kill Human, a story which does not tie in with the continuity of Road Trip.
Robocop: Road Trip #1, illustrated by Unai, arrives in stores in December.
