Mike Mignola's Hellboy spinoff will be produced by five seperate creative teams throughout the year.
The B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth series will be The Long Death, The Pickens County Horror, The Transformation of J. H. O'Donnell, The Devil's Engine and Exorcism.
Mignola is co-writer on each series.
Long-time B.P.R.D. writer John Arcudi will work with artist James Harren on B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: The Long Death, which sees a team investigating disappearances in some haunted woods.
The Pickens County Horror features co-writer Scott Allie and artist Jason Latour in a story of a secret vampire clan in the American deep south.
The Transformation of J. H. O'Donnell delves into the past of a crazed B.P.R.D. member, teaming Mignola and Allie with newcomer illustrator Max Fiumara.
Arcudi and artist Tyler Crook spin a tale of the villainous Zinco Corporation in The Devil's Engine.
Cameron Stewart will return to the Hellboy universe as illustrator and co-writer on Exorcism, in which we learn more about team member Ashley Strode's past.
"Let's break some stuff that can't be fixed," said Mignola. "Let's turn some corners where there's no going back.
"In both Hellboy and B.P.R.D., we're saying, 'Well, once we do this - once we round this corner - that's it!'
"It's not like, 'Oh, Batman, different costume'. We're doing stuff where there's no way to fix it. That is the new reality in our world. You're really going to see that in 2012."
