The firm's latest solicitations reveal that the long-delayed follow-up to Corey Lewis′s Sharknife will hit stores in February, 2012.
The Oni Press solicitation for the new volume reads: "Caesar is just a busboy at an Asian seafood restaurant, until that is, he eats one of the Guandong Factory's famous magic fortune cookies.
"Then he's transformed into the astounding warrior, Sharknife, defender of delicacies and destroyer of dessert-interrupting monsters! It's big action, big monsters, and big attitude in this big sequel from the Rey!"
Sharknife was released in 2005. Lewis previously revealed via his blog that the sequel was completed back in September. Oni Press will re-issue the first volume in special edition format to coincide with the new book.
Sharknife V2: Double Z will be released in February next year.
