The popular manga-style graphic novel was published by Tokyopop but cancelled before the release of its final volume.
Quick has revealed on her Deviantart page that the missing volume will be published in 2012.
"To clear up some misunderstandings I read online, OffBeat book three is not completely finished," she said.
"I had the script, 100 pages of storyboards and about two chapters completely done, three chapters penciled and inked and 4 chapters roughed. So I apologise if I misled anyone to believe otherwise."
Quick revealed that she had to re-scan and re-tone all the pages of the third volume after her computer was infected by a virus caught through downloaded computer games.
She said she would take the opportunity to re-edit the story and art.
The story centres on a teenage boy who spies on his mysterious new neighbour and develops a fascination with him.
Quick did not reveal who will be publishing OffBeat volume three.
