Marvel Comics rolls out iOS app update

The patch introduces a range of new features, including an overhauled interface, revamped search and browse functions, and improved performance and stability.
Marvel also announced special discounts on a host of its most popular digital titles to coincide with the release. Issues of FFX-Men: Schism, and Ultimate Comics Spider-Man will be available at a reduced price until December 6.
"Marvel is committed to giving our fans the best digital reading experience possible and with this latest upgrade to the Marvel Comics app, I'm proud to say we're delivering just that," said Marvel Digital executive Peter Phillips.
"So whether you're a fan of Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine or the Wizard of Oz, you're going to find some great comics to read - and they're going to look better than ever."
The Marvel Comics app 3.0 is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch via Apple storefronts.
