The creator-owned comic is set in 1920s prohibition-era New York, where vampires and aliens battle for control of the city.
Benderspink is also producing comic book movie adaptations of Brian K Vaughan's Y: The Last Man and Undying Love, as well as the Steve Carell and Jim Carrey comedy Burt Wonderstone.
Director Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class) was previously rumoured to be working on a Turf adaptation, but there is no word on whether he is attached to the project so far.
Turf was printed by Image Comics and Titan Publishing.
Ross and Edwards are currently working on a comic about superhero retirees called The Golden Age, with Vaughn attached to direct a movie version.
