Image Comics has announced zombie comic Rebel Blood.
Riley Rossmo (Cowboy Ninja Viking, Proof) and Alex Link's four-issue series will be published through the Shadowline imprint.

Rebel Blood focuses on a forest ranger as he races home to save his family after the outbreak of a zombie plague that affects both humans and animals.
"The concept for Rebel Blood is something that just began as some sketches," said Rossmo. "But [it] quickly took on a life of it's own, to mutate. Rebel Blood is what happens when I just run wild with a concept and let it happen."
The series is intended as an homage to classic horror titles such as The Vault of Horror, The Haunt of Fear and Tales From the Crypt.
It will be previewed in forthcoming issues of Haunt and Spawn.
Rebel Blood #1 will debut on March 28.
