Comic Reader! released for iPad

The application enables users to import digital comics in CBR, CBZ, ZIP and RAR formats onto the iOS device, and view them in landscape or portrait.
Apple platforms already play host to numerous digital comics readers, but unlike many of its competitors, Comic Reader! features RSS support. Several comic book news sites come pre-loaded, but users can add more at will.
Other features include Series View, which automatically groups comics into their corresponding story arcs, and customisable reading lists.
Obsidian recommends that users also purchase the FileBrowser application to transfer comics onto their device. This can also be done using DropBox. The company plans to introduce more options for transferring comics in future updates.
Comic Reader! is available from the App Store for £2.49.
