'The Avengers Prelude' comics announced by Marvel

The four-issue miniseries will take place before the events of Joss Whedon's Avengers movie, setting the scene for the superhero blockbuster.
Chris Yost and Eric Pearson will handle writing duties on the project, working in collaboration with artists Luke Ross, Daniel HDR and Geral Parel.
The Avengers brings together Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) on the big screen for the first time.
The movie also stars Samuel L Jackson as SHIELD agent Nick Fury, and Tom Hiddleston as the villainous Loki. It is scheduled to arrive in theatres on May 4, 2012 worldwide.
The Avengers Prelude 1# and #2 will be released in March next year.
