Chakra - The Invincible will be developed by Liquid in conjunction with Lee's POW! Entertainment company.
The comic will initially launch as a series of web and mobile titles distributed throughout the country via the Graphic India platform. It tells the story of a Mumbai teenager who develops an enhanced suit that activates the mystical 'Chakras' of the body, granting him super powers.
"I'm incredibly excited to be collaborating with my friends at Liquid Comics and their best-in-class team of artists as we launch a great new, thrill-a-minute superhero saga named Chakra - The Invincible," said Lee.
"Against the spectacular backdrop of the great Indian metropolis of Mumbai, we tell the incredible saga of Chakra, our daring and dangerous teenage hero."
Chakra - The Invincible debuts in April, 2012 through Graphic India.
