'Superman' to feature WildStorm villain

Superman is to feature a guest appearance from WildStorm villain Helspont.
DC Comics revealed that the Man of Steel will tackle the Daemonite high lord in April's issue #8.
Helspont has previously appeared in the WildStorm titles Grifter, Voodoo and Stormwatch. He is also slated to show up in spinoff titles Demon Knights, and Blackhawks in the future.
DC also previewed a cover illustration for Action Comics #8, which depicts Superman battling a redesigned Brainiac. The book is also scheduled to arrive in stores in April.


Keith Giffen and Dan Jurgens will form the creative team of Superman #8. Current scribe George Pérez previously announced that he is stepping down from the title after issue #6.
Action Comics #8 is written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Rags Morales.
