Jonathan Ross's America's Got Powers has been slated for release in April.
Image Comics will publish the Bryan Hitch-drawn series, which Ross has described as "full on superhero angst and action".
America's Got Powers, announced yesterday via the broadcaster's Twitter account, is based around a US reality television show in which super-powered beings compete for a place in the world's only superhero team.

Ross and Hitch have also released the first teaser for the comic, which offers a first look at its official logo. Full details of the project will be unveiled later this week.
Hitch left Marvel Comics as exclusive artist at the end of December after ten years with the publisher. Ross has prior experience writing for comics, having penned Turf in 2010 in collaboration with Tommy Lee Edwards.
