Fans have between now and midnight on February 1 to select their favourite comics, artists and writers of the year via the Eagles website.
The top five nominations in each category will move forward to the voting phase, which commences on February 15. The Eagle Awards will be presented on May 25 at the MCM London Comic Con.
"All nominees will be invited to the Awards Ceremony with the winners offered the opportunity to give an acceptance speech," said Eagle Awards chair Cassandra Conroy. "The full list of 2012 winners will be released to the world at midnight on May 26."
The Eagles, founded in 1976, is one of the industry's most high-profile fan-selected prizes. Last year's winners included Mike Mignola, Grant Morrison, The Walking Dead, and 2000AD.
The MCM London Comic Con takes place between May 25 and May 27 at Excel London.
