Valiant Entertainment distributed by Diamond in exclusive deal

The company's revived comics line will be distributed worldwide exclusively by Diamond, reports The Washington Post.
2012 will see Valiant reintroduce the popular 1990s properties including X-O Manowar, Bloodshot and Harbinger.
The publisher bought the rights to the superhero characters from previous owners Acclaim in 2007 when that organisation went bankrupt.
Valiant announced its plans to return to comics in 2011.
The return of Valiant is being partially funded by Cuneo & Company, LLC - an investment firm headed by former Marvel CEO and vice chairman Peter Cuneo, who left Marvel in 2010 as part of the Disney buyout.
Cuneo will serve as chairman of Valiant Entertainment.
