Two-Face will star in the new Detective Comics backups.
Writer Tony Daniel will be joined by artist Szymon Kudranski in the ten-page stories at the back of DC Comics' flagship title from issue #8, reports The Source.
The stories will focus on the background and history of the villainous Harvey Dent.

"I'm really looking forward to working with Szymon Kudranski, who'll no doubt capture the dark mood and tone I'm reaching for in Detective Comics," said Daniel, who has been writing the New 52 title since its relaunch.
"I'm going deep into the character of Harvey Dent and the inner conflicts and demons he must confront. I'm approaching the characters and story the way I would a multi-layered psychological thriller, one that covers a man at the losing end of a battle within himself."
DC recently announced an increase in price for Detective Comics and its sister title Batman to accommodate extra pages in the series.
The franchise will also centre on a crossover titled 'The Night of the Owls', which will debut in Batman #8 in May.
Daniel and Kudranski previously collaborated in a one-off backup in this month's Detective Comics #5.
Detective Comics #8 will be released in April.
