Archie Comics moves to dismiss co-CEO Nancy Silberkleit

Silberkleit, who faced legal action in the past for "inappropriate behaviour", has been called a "real, imminent and severe threat" to the company if she maintains her post as director and co-CEO.
"Unless Silberkleit is removed as a director and an officer, the company - an iconic American company - is in serious danger of failing and being liquidated," Goldwater told the New York Daily News.
Archie sought a court injunction to ban Silberkleit from its offices last year, following reports of "bullying" and "sexual harassment" of male staff. A preliminary injunction was granted in November last year, preventing the executive from having any non-work related contact with employers or vendors.
Goldwater claims that Silberkleit violated the terms of the court ruling almost immediately by having unnecessary contact with staff.
Silberkleit joined Archie's managerial setup following the death of her husband Michael in 1998. She controls a 50% stake in the publisher, causing a deadlock between herself and her opposition on the board.
