'Avengers vs. X-Men' splits Wolverine's loyalties

Avengers vs. X-Men will see Wolverine torn between his divided loyalties.
Marvel Comics has released the cover of Wolverine and the X-Men #9, showing Wolverine standing between the two teams.

"This April, as the Marvel Universe waits on baited breath for the arrival of the all-powerful Phoenix Force, Wolverine must choose a side of the coming war... but will the Jean Grey School of Higher Learning follow?" said the publisher.
Wolverine and Beast, long-time mutant members of the Avengers, appear to side against their fellow X-Men on the cover of Avenger vs. X-Men #1.
The preview of the cover for New Avengers #25 has revealed a surprising and mysterious connection between Iron Fist and the Phoenix Force.
The powerful and dangerous entity's return to Earth forms the backdrop to the battle between the two teams.
Wolverine and the X-Men #9 will be written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Chris Bachalo.
