Moon Knight is to conclude in April, according to writer Brian Michael Bendis.
The acclaimed scribe confirmed via his message board that the Marvel Comics title will draw to a close with issue #12 that month.

"I am grateful we got to do our entire 12 issues," Bendis wrote. "When you get to 12 you'll see we got to tell our entire story uninterrupted, which is very nice. I do wish it sold better and I do wish it was continuing with another team. But I wish that about every comic on earth."
Bendis went on to say that he and series artist Alex Maleev were contracted to Moon Knight for a year, and never intended to extend their initial run. The comic debuted in May last year following an unveiling at October 2010's New York Comic Con.
Maleev will continue to work with Bendis on Scarlet, a creator-owned series published under Marvel's Icon imprint.
