Sales of volume three of the manga series saw it reclaim the top spot from Image Comics' The Walking Dead Compendium Volume 1.
The Walking Dead's Volume 15 claimed second place, though it was the series' only entry in the top 20, compared to the five it managed in December, ICv2 reports.
Manga titles accounted for 13 out of the top 20 places on the BookScan chart, which keeps track of sales in the bookstore market. Other bestsellers include Naruto, One Piece and Full Metal Alchemist collections.
Blizzard Entertainment's video game tie-in Diablo III: Book of Cain HC was a big mover in fifth place, following its debut in tenth the month previous.
Batman: The Black Mirror HC was DC Comics' only top 20 entry. Marvel Comics was absent from the chart.
