DC Comics has solicited Batman: Earth One for release in July.
The publisher revealed the full solicitation of Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's original graphic novel on The Source.
"In this all new take on the Batman mythos, Bruce Wayne is on the hunt for his parents' killer," said DC. "His target? The Mayor of Gotham City!
"Plus, who is Alfred Pennyworth - and why is he so determined to put an end to the Batman?"

The long-awaited graphic novel was revealed to be arriving at some point in 2012 last month.
"Gary and I are tackling Batman from the beginning, before he knows what he's doing and with a very different ultimate goal in mind," Johns said in January.
"He's never left Gotham. And our Gotham and the people in it are very grey. Our heroes unlikely. Our villains hidden. Our story is only beginning with volume one."
J Michael Straczynski and Shane Davis's Superman: Earth One - Volume Two is also scheduled for release at some point in 2012.
Batman: Earth One - Volume One will arrive in stores on July 4.
