The producers of the musical have agreed to pay $9,750 (£6,170) a week in royalties to Taymor as part of an agreement with her union, reports The New York Times.
The writer and former director of the musical filed a lawsuit against Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark producers last year over an alleged lack of compensation and a violation of her creative rights.
The producers counter-sued Taymor, claiming that the show was not based on her script and that it was "a success despite Taymor, not because of her".
The royalty payments will continue for the duration of the New York production, coupled with an undisclosed sum for subsequent tours.
The troubled show, with a record-breaking cost of $75 million (£47 million), has gone on to become a box office success.
