Archie Comics has teamed up with Graphic.Ly to sell comics via its Facebook page.
The publisher has almost 120,000 fans on the social network, and is hoping to turn that figure into revenue.

"It's really a major move toward connecting the potential reader to the product," Archie co-CEO Jon Goldwater told the Huffington Post. "We make it easy and hopefully create a new, lasting part of our fanbase."
Graphic.Ly launched its Facebook application for publisher in September last year, enabling them to embed digital comics on the website to attract new and casual readers.
Archie was among the first firms to make its comics available under the date-and-date digital model, switching to the system on April 1. It was also one of the first publishers to launch a standalone app, which has now seen more than 2 million downloads.
The publisher is currently locked in a bitter legal dispute with co-CEO Nancy Silberkleit, who was given a temporary restraining order from its offices last month.
