The characters will appear on the comic's main storyline alongside protagonist Jonah Hex and Amadeus Arkham, and will star in a back-up feature in subsequent issues.
Nighthawk is a costumed cowboy created by Robert Kanigher and Charles Paris in 1948. The character went on to be reincarnated as Carter Hall, the Golden Age Hawkman. Cinnamon was introduced by Roger McKenzie and Dick Ayers in 1978's Weird Western Tales #48.
All-Star Western is written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti with illustrations by Moritat. It is one of the few non-superhero series of DC's 'New 52' era.
The series follows the adventures of the infamous bounty hunter Jonah Hex in Wild West-era Gotham City, and features back-ups focusing on other Western characters of the DC universe.
All-Star Western #7 arrives in stores today (March 28).
