Hitman: Closing Time has been announced by DC Comics.

The collection will compile Garth Ennis and John McCrea's final tales of master assassin Tommy Monaghan, including crossovers with Lobo and the Justice League, Newsarama reports.

Tommy Monaghan was created by Ennis and McCrea in 1993, making his first appearance in The Demon Annual #2. He was later given his own series, which ran for 60 issues.

Hitman was predominantly set in Gotham City, and featured cameo appearances from Batman, The Joker, Green Lantern, Catwoman, Etrigan the Demon and Superman, among others.

DC began reissuing the entire saga back in 2009, with previous chapters available across six volumes.

Hitman: Closing Time will be available on August 1.
