
The pilot of the animated show will move ahead after it raised its target of $175,000 (£108,000) on the crowdsourcing site, reports ComicBook.com.
Venture Bros co-director Jon Schnepp is directing the project, with Game of Thrones star Lena Headey lending her voice talent to the show.
The Kickstarter funding will be used to make a pilot, with excess money raised and any generated through the initial release to be funnelled back into the project.
Schnepp has presided over a strong push to get fans to donate to the project, releasing several videos encouraging aid as the Kickstarter deadline has loomed.
Grimm Fairy Tales has raised $185,869 (£114,606) at the time of writing, with 15 hours left before the end of the Kickstarter funding project.
Zenescope's ongoing series is approaching its 75th issue, which will be published in July.
