Tim Seeley and Josh Emmons's new title was teased under the strapline: "Dark Horse horror gets under your skin."

The series was first unveiled at Chicago's C2E2 convention in April.
"Ex Sanguine is my take on the vampire-romance genre, but instead of being full of longing and anguished staring, it's full of brutal flirtations between two savage predators, one a vampire, one a serial killer," Seeley said at the time.
The writer is best known as the creator of Hack/Slash. He is currently working on Witchblade and Revival.
A Hack/Slash movie adaptation is currently in development.
Ex Sanguine will debut in Autumn 2012.
