A teaser trailer has debuted for Oliver.
Gary Whitta and Darick Robertson's four-issue miniseries was announced at San Diego Comic-Con International over the weekend.
Loosely based on Charles Dickens's Oliver Twist the comic is set in a future where clones created for a long-ended war exist as second-class citizens.
A young human-clone hybrid sets out on a journey of self-discovery that may see the barriers between the two societies broken down forever.
The trailer shows an image of the title character and offers a glimpse at other members of the cast.
Robertson is also working on Image title Happy! with Grant Morrison.
The publisher announced a string of forthcoming series from some of the biggest names in comics - including Matt Fraction, Joe Casey, Kelly Sue DeConnick and Chris Roberson - during its Comic-Con panel.
Oliver will debut in 2013.
