'Batman: The Dark Knight Returns' debuts new clip - watch

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Part 1 has debuted a new clip.

Warner Bros's latest footage from the animation focuses on the villainous Mutant Leader as he declares war on Gotham City.



The Dark Knight Returns is based on Frank Miller's classic four-part DC Comics miniseries, which saw an older Bruce Wayne returning from retirement.

Footage from the first instalment of the two-part adaptation debuted last month, following its debut trailer in July.

Peter Weller (RoboCop) stars as Batman and Ariel Winter (Modern Family) as Robin alongside a cast including Robert Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Part One will debut on Blu-ray and DVD on October 23 in the US. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
