The company will not ship its products for the week commencing December 24, reports Robot 6.
On a typical week, deliveries would be made on Tuesday, December 25 for release on Wednesday, December 26.
Some products will be shipped in advance the week before for release on Boxing Day, and another delivery will be made on Friday, December 28 for sale on Wednesday, January 2.
The last skip week fell in December 2009, with DC Comics shipping Blackest Night #6 early so that it could go on sale in stores on December 30.
Diamond also separately announced "die-cut, cardstock overcovers" by Batman artist Greg Capullo for the 'Death of the Family' tie-ins Batman #13, Batgirl #13, Catwoman #13, Suicide Squad #14, Batman and Robin #15, Detective Comics #15, Nightwing #15, Red Hood and the Outlaws #15 and Teen Titans #15.
