The 'United We Stand' storyline will follow the 'Divided We Fall' event, and sees Captain America surprised by a write-in election win.

"This is one of those stories that could only be told in the Ultimate Comics Universe, where the only rule is simple - there are no rules." said Axel Alonso, Marvel's editor-in-chief.

"We've seen Captain America fight wars and battle supervillains, but running a country is a whole new challenge - but don't worry, this isn't about political speeches and closed-door meetings. This is exactly the kind of high-octane, super-powered thrill ride you'd expect from a book called The Ultimates!"

Sam Humphries is currently writing the book, having taken over from Jonathan Hickman. Billy Tan and Luke Ross will provide artwork for the storyline.

Ultimate Comics: Ultimates #15 will debut today (September 19), with issue #16 following next week on September 26.
