The Dark Knight Returns - Part 2 picks up where its predecessor left off, following Bruce Wayne as he returns from retirement to don the mantle of the Bat after a ten-year absence.
The Joker and Superman will feature in the second instalment, with Michael Emerson voicing the former and Mark Valley playing the Man of Steel.

During the New York Comic Con presentation, Warner Bros will announce its plans for future DC Universe animated projects.
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Part 2 is released in early 2013.
