Amazing Spider-Man #700 is to feature a special Christmas-themed variant cover.
Marcos Martin has provided the 12th and final variant design for the landmark issue, which coincides with the iconic hero's 50th anniversary.
Editor Stephen Wacker revealed the illustration via Twitter, writing: "That Marcos cover is for Spidey #700. The number on the cover is a placeholder. I'm passing all your nice words onto Marcos."
Amazing Spider-Man #700 will see the long-running series conclude, making way for the Marvel NOW! title Superior Spider-Man in January.
The plot of the issue is a closely-guarded secret, but rumour has it that Peter Parker will be defeated by his great enemy Doctor Octopus, paving the way for a new star to take up the hero's mantle in the new series.
Amazing Spider-Man #700, written by Dan Slott with art by Humberto Ramos, is released on December 26.
