The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo graphic novel adaptation has received a trailer.
DC Comics previewed the Stieg Larsson adaptation in a 30-second TV spot, giving fans a look at Leonardo Marco and Andrea Mutti's interior artwork.
Crime writer Denise Mina wrote the graphic novel based on Larsson's books, and Lee Bermejo provided cover artwork. DC released the title under its Vertigo imprint, which traditional plays host to mature series.
DC is adapting all three books in the series - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest - as two-volume graphic novels. The sequels will be released in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
The publisher worked closely with Larsson's estate and Hedlund Literary Agency when bringing the series to the new medium.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo graphic novel adaptation was released in stores this week.
