"I'm very excited about Dark Horse graphic novels coming to the Kindle," said Mark Bernardi, Dark Horse's director of digital publishing.

"Not only does it give fans another way to enjoy their favourite Dark Horse titles, it is going to introduce our amazing catalogue to a whole new audience."

It follows the move by DC Comics to make all its single issues available on Kindle Store, as well as Apple's iBookstore and Barnes & Nobles' NOOK Store.

Another recent move for Dark Horse was the introduction of its Android app.

The titles available on Amazon's Kindle Store include Mass Effect, Hellboy, Star Wars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity and Sin City.
