MTV broke the news of Time Warp's revival, but did not specify whether the title will be released as a one-shot, like the other titles, or a longer running series.

Creators including Damon Lindelof, Jeff Lemire, Mark Buckingham, Dan Abnett, Peter Milligan, Ray Fawkes, Simon Spurrier, Gail Simone, Rafael Albuquerque and Tom Fowler will contribute to the book, which features covers by Eduardo Risso and Jae Lee.

Time Warp was originally released in 1979 to capitalise on the heightened popularity of sci-fi at the time. It featured the work of high-profile talent including Steve Ditko, Curt Swan, Jim Aparo and Paul Levitz, but lasted just five issues.

Time Warp #1 will be released in March 2013.
