The comic, which tells the story of a troubled Joy Division fan thrust into the centre of an Aztec war, published three issues before hitting a year-long delay.

Humphries is best known for penning John Carter: Gods of Mars and Ultimate Comics: The Ultimates for Marvel, as well as Higher Earth for BOOM! Studios.
He is currently writing Marvel's upcoming Uncanny X-Force series, which is due to debut on the same day as Sacrifice #4.
