'X-Factor's Peter David suffers stroke

Peter David has suffered a stroke.

The veteran comics writer has revealed to fans that he is under observation after the attack while on holiday.

"I have had a stroke," he wrote on his blog.

"We were on vacation in Florida when I lost control of the right side of my body. I cannot see properly and I cannot move my right arm or leg.

"We are currently getting the extent of the damage sorted out and will report as further details become clarified."

David is best known for his work on Marvel Comics' The Incredible Hulk and his long-running and ongoing role as the writer of X-Factor.

He has also worked on Marvel's adaptation of Stephen King's Dark Tower series.
