The publisher's solicitation for Superior Spider-Man #9 bears the headline "It ends here! Superior no more", and appears to suggest the death of a character, CBR reports.

"The hottest comic in comics comes to a turning point that will get you angrier than you were after Spidey #700," reads the comic's synopsis. "The time has come to see who will live, who will die, and who will emerge as the one, true Superior Spider-Man."
Marvel also released a solicitation for Superior Spider-Man #10, confirming that the Green Goblin will make his series debut.
"A perfect jumping-on point as The Green Goblin returns… and Spider-Man is nowhere to be found," reads the description.
Marvel caused controversy among fans late last year when the firm killed off Peter Parker in an issue of Amazing Spider-Man and had his longtime foe Doctor Octopus inhabit his body, gaining access to all of his memories.
Superior Spider-Man #9 and #10 will be released in May.
