Tickets for Comic-Con International 2013 have sold out within 93 minutes.

Passes for the San Diego event went on sale yesterday. The organisers tweeted that the four day passes had sold out 55 minutes into the process.

Saturday passes were gone after just over an hour, with the Friday passes selling out ten minutes later.

An hour and a half after ticket sales began the organisers revealed on Twitter that there were none left.

The waiting room for buying tickets is reported to have filled within minutes, effectively leaving a very narrow window in which there was a chance to attend.

Deadline reported complaints of various technical glitches on the site by would-be buyers.

2011's online ticketing process suffered several major errors before it was completed. The 2012 sale lasted under an hour.

Comic-Con International added that a "resale of returned badges may happen at a later date" upon announcing the end of the sale on Twitter.
