BBC's 'Sherlock' gets manga second adaptation

Sherlock will receive a second manga adaptation.

The comic based on the BBC's television series will return to Japan's Young Ace magazine.

The new run will adapt 'The Blind Banker', the second episode of the Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman-starring show.

According to Anime News Network, the series will be announced officially on Saturday November 2, to debut in the next issue on December 4.

The first run adapted the pilot episode 'A Study in Pink' last year.

Sherlock season three will debut in the US on January 19, premiering on BBC One on an unconfirmed date in the coming months.

Lars Mikkelsen has been cast as a new nemesis for Sherlock (Cumberbatch), while Amanda Abbington will play Mary Morstan, a love interest for John Watson (Freeman).
