it miss it the first time round, saw repeat, the acting was great, Tennant has comic timing with piper, the hospital zombies were ok, but it need the sean of the dead cast to bring something special to the script, it was a shame that the BBC who had given the idea of Rose Tyler (Billie) her own spin off series decide not to give her one.

Fantastic and very funny. All the crew of the program are taking Dr Who to a whole new level which is excellent. David Tennant acts excellently as the Doctor and I am sure he has pleased many fans. Great start to what looks like a really good season.

A cracking ("moisturise me") start to the new series

Too much going on, no real sense of direction, and a plot begining to fall into the trap of 1980's DR WHO (i.e. relying on its past and "campery"). The acting was top notch but Tennant is not as subtle as Eccleston (as infinitely better actor - who can act with just his eyes...) and seems to be an extension of the seventh Doctor (McCoy). I am not too sure about him yet. Piper was remarkable as "Cassandra". The action sequences were like JAMES BOND than DR WHO - fantastic! The "hospital zombies" were typical DR WHO - dull, unmenacing (poorly directed. The gas mask creatures were better directed. quick cut, quick cut, close-up, etc). The visual CGI effects were okay. Not as good as PARAMOUNT's STAR TREK (DS9 onwards). Less is more. But the DR WHO MOVIE must be BETTER. Money, I guess? Overall, I am pleased to see DR WHO back on the telly...but not EXCITED. Oh, and the BBC1 CONTINUITY VOICE - as Alan Sugar would say, "Shut it!". The music is iconic; let the viewers listen to it! Thanks.
