At last year's BAFTA ceremony another cult time-travelling show had the viewing public voting in their droves as Doctor Who scooped the Audience Award.
A Life On Mars spin-off entitled Ashes To Ashes is set to commence filming later this summer, with Glenister reprising his famed role as the politically incorrect detective Gene Hunt.
