Burrows is grabbed by Susan and her men in order to have a brief meeting with his son LJ - which serves as a reminder of why he must comply with them. Mahone is returned to Sona prison, a quivering wreck. T-Bag offers him drugs if he decides to take on Sammy in a death fight, as both he and Lechero are concerned that he is plotting to take control of the prison. However, Mahone refuses.
Bellick is challenged to a fatal fight by a prisoner he inadvertently upsets. He surprisingly wins the fight against the bulkier inmate after he secretly douses a substance over bandages he has wrapped around his knuckles, puts tissue up his nostrils, and overwhelms his opponent with the smell after smearing his face. T-Bag is the only one in the crowd to notice Bellick's duplicity.
Sucre is forced to do another drop off at Sona in his role as gravedigger, with Sammy later collecting the goods - a gun with which he plans to kill Lechero. Later, Sucre and Burrows have a loud argument over the former's loyalties. It is overheard by a Company agent.
Zavala gradually begins to give Schofield's explanation some thought and summons Whistler for interrogation. Eventually, he comes clean and admits that a woman called Gretchen Morgan - otherwise known as Susan - is in charge of the operation to hold LJ captive.
Sucre is accosted by Susan and she proposes that he change allegiance in exchange for a large sum of money. He agrees, but it emerges that it was a deliberate plan he concocted with Burrows.
Susan meets with Burrows, but Zavala's men capture her. After heavy interrogation during which she almost drowns, she finally admits that she knows where LJ is. However, she claims to be merely the 'babysitter'. She takes Zavala and two of his men to where LJ is captive, but manages to overpower and kill them.
