S02E06

A Colombian mammoth turns up on a motorway, prompting Cutter and the team to stage a rescue of a woman trapped in a car with her child. She is petrified and her screams tend to attract the attention of the creature. Cutter drags her free, while Abby tries to lure the mammoth back through the anomaly by leaving a trail of female elephant urine. However, the anomaly disappears and the mammoth ends up in a truck driven by Connor.

Cutter calls a secret meeting of the team to reveal that they are going to set a trap to work out who is hacking into their anomaly detection device. A fake anomaly is created in the church, with Cutter, Abby and Connor waiting for the culprits to turn up. They are shocked when Jenny turns up with some armed men, compelling Cutter to put a gun to her head in order to gain answers. She reveals that it was Leek who told her of the anomaly.

Meanwhile, Stephen is now working with Helen. He wants Cutter to bring everything out into the open about the anomalies, but a quip about his estranged wife prompts Cutter to punch him.

At the Arc, Leek appears on a video screen to tell Lester that he is now in command. Lester is forced to run for his life when Leek sets free a remote-controlled monster onto him, although Lester manages to repel the threat by unleashing the caged mammoth.

Cutter, Abby and Connor are lead into a trap by Leek and Helen after tracing Caroline's mobile signal. They wake up in a warehouse surrounded by beasts.
