Hopefully we see more Martha Jones next season!

Well I thought it was utter rubbish from start to finish. As for comparing it to Buffy, that's a genuine insult to the US show. Oh well, saves me wasting any time watching the inevitable series three I suppose :(

series 3 = Martha jones' return!! =) =) =)

The addition of Captain John as a recurring guest was a fantastic move, James Marsters was absolutely brilliant - nice distraction from having to listen to the dull Gwen character, who was one of the reasons I didn't watch it too often. Gray was a bit disappointing, not sure how that lad got cast - I think my dog could've given a more dramatic performance! I enjoyed the episodes I watched, they were a big improvement on season 1!

it was an amazing improvement on last year. I've really enjoyed this series and can't wait for the next one.

Brilliant entertainment all the way through the series and still love Gwen (gorgeous) and will miss the fantastic Owen and for a man I was close to tears when the superb Tosh died. hurry up Series3 I say

It was so brilliant! I did what I thought was never possible- crying over fictional character's death- thumbs up Torchwood!

Loved it from start to finish, became obsessed with tosh and owen's little relationship and cried like a baby when they both died. Rhys really grew on me, i adore PC Andy and lets face it james Marsters is sex on legs. Ianto's one liners were as awesome as ever, Jack was as awesome as always. Only thing that annoyed me was gwen's bloomin eyes! could they be any wider? All in all, a fantastic series. Torchwood i salute you!

I only watched about half the episodes of Series 1, I thought it so poor. I'm really glad I gave the 2nd series a chance though - a huge improvement all round. The last episode with the loss of Tosh and Owen was truly devastating and unexpected but almost ruined by the dreadful acting of the guy playing Gray which destroyed any tension the rest of the story had. As for series 3, I'll be watching and hoping we see Martha again, only for a much longer period.

**Spoilers** Are people watching the same series I did? Torchwood S2 was an almost total disaster. Direction laughable, production values are still very "blue peter" and if the acting was wooden it was probably due to the scripts being even worse. The only light was the Owen character's transformation that could have led to some very interesting and, more importantly, unique story lines. As it happens, this is probably a dead end (pun intended) which is rather unfortunate; why kill off the most interesting character in the setup and leave the chronically disappointing Gwen and still pointless Ianto whose only purpose is to supply overly homosexual innuendo in an ill advised attempt at humour. Torchwood is a wasted opportunity that, after it's second season, has still to find any deep narrative; Where are the other Torchwoods? How is the international community involved? where are the government agencies and how do they work with Torchwood? Torchwood never seems to grow into anything other than a poor episodic version of Angel. Hopefully this show will be given to someone with a shred of talent, like Moffat whose Jekyl series was everything Torchwood tries to achieve, but never does.

I loved this Season and can't wait for more....Really really hope James Marsters is a regular in Season 3 I just adore him.

It was very easy to see how the (and let's use the word as a convenient point of reference) actor who played Gray was cast. He is a total hottie. I for one didn't care that he couldn't act. I was hoping for a Torchwood-gratuitous shower scene with him.

So agree with Mr. Saxon we need more Martha Jones in the next season. Season 2 was 70% a great season few bits and pieces dropped the ball and over all great finale but Jacks strange brother was not neseccary especially after the alien wrist things that had been all set up earlier in the season (if that wasn't a set up for a season finale I dont know what is). I would love to see Joss Whedon come on board for an episode of Torchwood or Dr. Who i'm pretty sure he would be game too!

Touchwood had two problems and i was so happy when they killed off those problems at the end.. I guess i was not the only person who could tell they could not act. I still watched the show though. The only two episodes stood out where the ones with James marsters in them. Hopefully season 3 will be better.

Will people who don't like Torchwood please stop letting everyone know? It's a brilliant show, and i you don't happen to like it then don't put others off. I really enjoyed the series and I am hoping to see more of Martha next time. But I was really sad when they killed Tosh off! Owen didn't hit so hard, being dead already, and he'll probably be brought back sometime. Does anyone know who's going to replace the two? Gray was miscast and he's not hot! If you want hot people pay attention to the regulars, like Jack and the adorable Ianto.

I am still drying my eyes from tonights episode. How can they replace Owen and Tosh. What an excellent season. I love Torchwood. I am a high school teacher and have been telling my students about this exciting series. I started watching in August, 2007 and I think I have managed to see most of season 1 and I have season two Tivoed. I have just read that there are novels based on the TV show. Are they any good?

OK, I'll be the lone dissenter here. I found the whole "kill off some characters" schtick very disappointing. It's way too overdone, at least on US TV, for sweeps weeks and season enders. It doesn't have any shock value anymore and, at least in my case, just ticks me off. I watch shows because I enjoy the cast, their interplay and how they work through the storylines. Lately, the directors, writets and other behind the scene personnel seem to think it's all about them and actors are "plug-and-play" props. This seriously lowered my interest level toward next season.
