Fantastic, not sure I will actually be able to cope with the wait for the next episode. Very strong episode, the tension has been well played out and kept you on a knife edge to the end...

The Sontaron Stratagem was pure genius and a much better episode than last years Daleks in "Yawn"Hattan. The re-introduction of Martha was well written and the Sontarons certianly made their mark.As for David Tennant and Catherine Tate, did you even have to ask?

Best episode so far the perfect balance of drama, comedy and gentle introduction of the doctors growing affection for donna [in a completely platonic way in my opinion] gave the episode a brilliant feel leaving behind a definite yearn for more!

Amazing episode with a fantastic cliff-hanger. The Sontaron's chant is catchy : "Sontar Ha, Sontar Ha, Sontar Ha, Sontar Ha"

I really enjoyed this; it played out like one of the better Jon Pertwee adventures, though the new UNIT Colonel isn't a patch on Brigadier Stewart - and I much prefer confident Martha to gooey lovestruck Martha

The best episode so far in this new series. I did think though that the ending for a two parter was badly handled by the director. I mean, most of the population were being gassed to death in their vehicles and it just looked like the director had sprayed a bit of dry ice in a Tescos car park somewhere.

Great episode, my favorite of the series so far. The sontarans havnt changed a bit since their first appearance back in the day. I also thought that martha and donna were played really well together. Cannot wait for next weeks sonatran finale!!!

Fantastic episode, I was dreading it to end, and i found myself muttering "I hate two parters" because i can't wait to see next weeks episode. Loved the way Martha was re-introduced =] Very funny scene when Donna went to visit her family and the doctor thought she was leaving. I found the scene with Donna and grandfather emotional. Im really loving the new series =]

I really enjoyed The Sontaran Stratagem! Probably best episode so far this series. Really enjoyed the return of Martha, UNIT and the Sontarans! Can't wait for the Poison sky!

I really enjoyed this episode, it had everything, fast pace, a sinister enemy & humour. There has been discussion as to what UNIT stands for. us older Who fans would claim it is United Nations Intelligence Task Force. It now seems it is as other have claimed Unified Intelligence Task Force, which doesn't have quite the same ring to it! One little error that was made, the head of the UNIT saluted the Doctor & Donna while not wearing a hat. Little tip writers, do chack your military protocol, in the UK armed forces you only salute wearing a hat. Small thing but one to note. Otherwise great episode & I look forward to the conclusion. Lastly, lets get the Brig back for a guest appearance.

Really enjoyed it - although I'm still not sure about the new 50 minute episode length. The last 5 minutes were agonising! Why didn't they pick a brick (or similar) up and smash the car window to free Wilf? and what was the Doctor up to - walking away into the fog? Minor niggles, however as this was equally as strong as Planet Of The Ood last week. Helen Raynor has clearly learnt from her Dalek two parter and delivered a much tighter and dramatic script. As the DS reviewer notes, this was let down a little by the direction. Overall - Marvellous! Can't wait for next week :)

Nah - this episode didn't do it for me or my 9 year old son. Still have to say that the first episode - the Adipose - has been the best one for me but my son preferred the Pompeii programme. I just didn't feel there was enough of any one thing - humour or tension or dramatic effects. I know it was a lead up to part two but somehow it didn't tick enough boxes for me. I have to agree that Donna's flashbacks were an excellent marker as to how things have changed her view on life but overall I can't say it's one that will stand out - even after watching it 3 times! Never mind - you can't please everyone all the time. It won't put me off though. Well done to everyone involved.

Tempted to give it a 4 due to Christopher Ryan being great. A 3 though, best episode of the new series so far. A few things that were annoying, one being the haka chant at the end.

Much better than last year's DIM, though I enjoyed it better on second watching rather than the first. I'm really loving Donna who again put in another sterling performance. Great to see Martha again and thanks for no cat-fighting. Roll on next week!

This episode is fab, but Martha is a bit bossier!Catherine Tate adds humour to the most frightening situations. I think, though, that the next part will be interesting!

I hate two-parters but I loved this episode. Can't wait until next week to see where it goes. This series really catches the feel of the classic series, watching it I'm 12 years old again. I can only hope it contuines to run for a log time.

The season so far has been fantastic, and in fact has been stronger episode-for-episode compared to the first 4 episodes of last season. That either bodes well for the remainder of Season 4, or it means the chaff has yet to come. Either way, I'm enjoying things so far and I can't get SONTAR-HA! out of my head! Unfortunately it looks like this episode has reinforced some people's view that "Dr. Who (sic) is stupid", but I'm still amazed there are a few (albeit a shrinking number) of Donna-haters out there. I was concerned, too, but she's done a stellar job so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how she handles the rest of the season. And Bernard Cribbins just rocks IMO.

To be honest I thought Donna and Martha were going to pull each other's hair out, but I was shocked when they got on well. I do hope that Wilf gets out OK."

I loved it. The fact that it had a cliffhanger was an added bonus and just made it for me. I'm "old school" and this episode gave me so much pleasure it's hard to describe - I almost espect to see Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart (or however you spell it) come striding in. David Tennant was, as usual, outstanding in the part. He does so play the character in a Troughton-like way. Adorable! Maybe Catherine Tate isn't the best assistant ever, but she's fine by me. I find her scenes with David Tennant rather better than the scenes she does without him though. They work better together than she works on her own I'm afraid.
