S02E03: 'Kindred'

A badly wounded Sylar wakes up in a tropical illusion created by Candice and discovers that he has lost his powers. Candice says she will help him return to his former state, but Sylar grows impatient and kills her, but fails to absorb her ability to shapeshift.

Maya and Alejandro are apprehended by the police after trying to steal a car, with the latter thrown into a cell. Maya enters the station, her eyes blacken and the officers quickly die. Alejandro revives everyone and the pair escape along with another prisoner in a car.

Peter helps Ricky steal some cash, but the ganglord's brother Will tries to snatch it. The traitor shoots Peter when he intervenes, but the young man's powers enable him to recover and subdue Will. He later shares a kiss with Caitlin and is given the box with details of his identity. He opts not to open it.

Niki and Micah visit the grave of DL Hawkins and the latter is later dropped off to stay with an elderly woman. Ando finds a message from Hiro in the sword, containing details of his trip into the past.

West demonstrates his ability to fly to Claire, taking her to a beach and snogging her. The young man then reveals that he was taken by a man with "horn-rimmed glasses", denoting Claire's father.

Mohinder finds a painting in Isaac's apartment that depicts the slain corpse of Noah Bennet and he passes on the image to the cheerleader's father.

In the past, Hiro convinces Kensei to tackle the Ronin and restore history, but is not happy to see Yaeko become the bride of the reluctant swordsman.
