a giant wasp, a murder, a mystery, agatha christie and doctor who mixed together pure beauty the best historical episode since the unquiet dead so altogether i was stunned plus agatrha played a good part

What a treat to see Felicity Kendal again after such a long absence from our small screen on this side of the Pond. Found the Christie and Clue(do) references amusing.

This is 1 of da best plots ive ever seen. It woulve been better if the Vespithingy actually STUNG some1 (anyway how can a wasp hold a led pipe?). Great Cluedo references. Felicity Kendall shouldve played Agatha C. By the way, i used 2 live in Harrogate!(Woo Hoo!)

As I see most people before me either love or hate this episode. Well, I love it! This one and Blink are my absolute favourites from the New Doctor Who series! I love the comedy and the mystery in this episode, totally brilliant! Donna Noble is the best companion the doctor ever had! I really hope they don't replace her at least for 3 more seasons :) Sci-fi brilliantly mixed with parody and comedy - what more could one want!!! I think this episode deserves a ton of movie awards :)

The fourth series continues to lack depth and emotion. But things can not get any lower than this episode.Possibly the worst in who's history.

I loved this episode but then I am a real Agatha Christie fan. It was light and frothy. Not every episode can be dark with too many sub plots. Aside from this one, I have been disappointed this series. Great!

How could anybody hate this? A FANTASTIC episode as both a Christie and Doctor Who fan. It was the best one of this series and both Tennant and Tate were great in it. The story was a little weak in places but the tone was just right. Perfect saturday evening/ family viewing!

Didnt like the episode at all, thought it was very, very poor!

Probably the worst Doctor Who episode in 45 years. Unfunny, a plot that made no sense, and an overall embarrassment to all involved. If you want a decent Doctor Who murder mystery, watch Black Orchid instead.

Another first!! I do not know how they do it,but this series just keeps getting better and better. What are they on,and can i have some of it?

I agree with all the other '1 star'-ers - it was the worst episode for some time. Felicity Kendal sleeping with a wasp? Whose offspring absorbed Agatha Christie plotlines through a stone in a necklace? Based on characters in Cluedo? At least it allowed the scriptwirters to slip in another mention of the 'disappearing bees' ;)

Brilliant story although perhaps the kissing was unnecessary

Excellent episode, a nice break from all the tension of the previous episodes.

Badly written script and badly over-acted nonsense! This was a dreadful episode. The production values were slightly lower than usual, the story was dire and the acting was so... so painful to watch. If Dr Who doesn't make a vast improvement with the scripts and storylines then hopefully the powers that be at the BBC will make the present production team at Cardiff buzz..zzz...zzz off too!

Thought it was excellent, david tennant was once again amazing love the cathrine tate "this'll shock you" bit, i think its really good this season how theres no sexual tension.

cant decide, it wasnt like doctor who at all, too murder mystery and not enough sci fi. the giant wasp redeemed it though.

I give it "meh". Clever idea, looked beautiful, well-acted - but the directing and the execution of it all seemed messy to me. Tate and Tennant are a fantastic combination and Fenella Woolgar was superb - I would have liked to see a real murder-mystery rather than a spoof, with less comedy and more creepiness - but maybe I'm just a miserable sod!
