Patton Oswalt has joined the cast of Syfy's Caprica, says The Hollywood Reporter.
On the series, a sequel to Battlestar Galactica, Oswalt will reportedly play Baxter Sarno, a popular Caprican comedian and talkshow host.
The 40-year-old actor, who has previously appeared on Dollhouse, Reno 911! and Kim Possible, will be joined in the project by series regulars Sasha Roiz, Eric Stoltz, Esai Morales, Paula Malcomson and Polly Walker.
Caprica is slated to begin airing on Syfy Friday, January 22, 2010.
